BloodyKnuckles Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 I would think they would be the same. They sure look the same side by side but does anyone know the wheelbase for both cars? Thank you, BloodyKnuckles Quote
JerseyHarold Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 The Plymouth wheelbase is 118.5" (Cambridge/Cranbrook) and 111" for the Concord/Suburban. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted September 20, 2008 Report Posted September 20, 2008 The Dodge is usually the larger body over the Plymouth and in this case the full size cars are 123.5 and the Wayfarer (cousin to the Concord) is 115 Quote
BloodyKnuckles Posted September 20, 2008 Author Report Posted September 20, 2008 Are the frames similar or almost the same? Is it just the location of the rear axle is different on the same frame? BloodyKnuckles Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted September 20, 2008 Report Posted September 20, 2008 again..the Dodge is the larger setup..though I do not have the dodge specs for the 41/52 year..only that of the Plymouth..comapring the P15 and D24 the Dodge is 3 3/4 longer and though the width is not but fractions of an inch wider compared..it is wider ..would think this trend continued on the larger bodied Chry. DeS. and Dodge.. Quote
