brian hood Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 Hey, I found a complete truck ( 3/4 ton) yesterday with a V10. It is a 94 with an automatic OD trans. It runs great and everything seems to work well. The body was ragged. It the od was 124000. This would be a great doner for a resto mod. Does anyone need it? The lady agreed to take $800 for it. It is in Mobile, Alabama. Contact me and I will give you her number. Brian Quote

falconvan Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 Wow, $800 for a running V10? Always seems to happen when I dont have any spare $$. Quote
old woolie Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 Something funny here. 94's never had a V10. Did someone put it in there? A ragged body at 124000 sounds reasonable but who would put a V10 in there and then sell it for 800 bucks? Not saying it isn't so but I'm doubtfull. Quote

brian hood Posted September 19, 2008 Author Report Posted September 19, 2008 I just bought a small 1st gen Hemi. If I did not have this, I would buy it for myself. Its real and runs good. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 The V10 set up for the money if still in a running truck is well worth the jingle asked for the entire truck...if I were not so economy minded in my builds with the exception of the 383 in the bz cp I would be tempted to snarf that platform now....now if someone wants to buy a 463 horse 440 with 727....maybe I could swing the purchase after all...anyone ...Bueller??? Brian..buy that truck..trade you the 440 and I will cover pickup (as in collect the truck not the price of the pickup..gotta be specific here) and deliverly cost to yur place in Alabama... Quote
Fireball Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 That engine + tranny are worth some $3000 alone Quote
