  1. So today I got my first project car a 1947 Plymouth p-15 sedan if that’s right I’m 16 and this is all new
  2. i'm putting glass in my 48 and need any suggestions on how to do it. I tried watching videos on you tube but the only one i see is a 41 plymouth front door and it's not the same as my back doors which don't have the extra room from the vent windows.
  3. So I got a 1948 P15 a couple months ago and realized the brakes weren't doing so well. I replaced all the wheel cyliders, the shoes and a drum. Then I thought the master might not be so hot so I tried to take it off the car to rebuild it....which was much harder than I thought. It probably took me about 8 hours to get it off of there and I've probably spent the same trying to get it back on. The issue is I cannot get the pedals back through the holes in the floor and on the mc at the same time. If I put both pedals on the mc, the tops of the pedal arms hit the top part of the hole. If I put both pedals through the holes first and then try to get them on the mc, the angle is too extreme for them to fit. This must be doable, do I need to remove the floor? I believe whoever restored the car replaced the floor there and riveted it down. He also glued the carpet to it so I can't see underneath unless I rip it up. Perhaps are the holes in the floor cut smaller than the originals? Am I missing something? Can I remove the pegs the pedal arms mount to on the mc? Any help would be appreciated. Matt
  4. Hello! We are restorating a Plymouth Deluxe Business Coupe (P-15). The car has been shipped over the ocean from USA to Europe lately. We started the project this summer. This is how it looked like when we got the project into work: Originally this car had no back seat but someone has put a random seat there instead. Not very quality work: Now this is where we need your help a little, people. As the bulkhead is totally removed we don't even have an example of it. If someone has a decent bulkhead for sale maybe we can make a trade. If not maybe someone of you is able to make some proper pictures or drawings of the bulkhead of a business coupe. We would be really appreciated: At first when we looked at the car it didn't seem to be in very bad condition but when we stripped it apart it was seen that the floor was almost gone. The floor was "repaired" with galvanized roofing sheets. There was lots of them on one another. There were also a lot of newspaper named Quad-City Times from the year 1985 inside the "sideboxes" (sorry for my english): In fact the floor's condition was so bad that before we could lift the body from the frame and sandblast the car we had to change the "sideboxes" and most of the floor first. The sandblasting would vanish the remains into the air and we wouldn't have any example in front of us later. PS! If you have any questions or suggestions please let us know. Regards, Leevi
