  1. Really a nice find. Sure wish my Club Coupe had been that complete when I got her. Been a real challenge finding all the missing parts to put it back together. Good luck and have fun!!!
  2. Walt---very sorry. Now that I have read this string a little more closely I realized you are the one who posted the pictures. I issued my "thank you" to the wrong person. Sorry. In any case thank you for your assistance. I am actively contacting the various wrecking yards I have used over the last 5 years of this project all over the United States and so far I am striking out. The interior guy gave me until the Friday after Christmas to get those strips or he wants me come and get my car so he can move on to another project. So close but yet so far away!!!!
  3. Thanks for the pictures Donald. Your pictures have helped me to understand what I'm looking for. The interior shop guys knew to look for them and identified they were missing when I dropped the car off. Unfortunately, my car is now in the "on-hold" column of their work schedule board until I can either find these strips to purchase or figure out how to make them. I placed an ad in the classified section on this site and hopefully I can find a pair and get my project back on track. Thanks again for the pics.
  4. Thanks for your quick reply. I'll see if I can figure out how to place a classified ad and request to purchase them from someone. If I just had a piece of an old one to use as an example to get started would be a big help. At this point I am trying to make something I have never seen before!!!!
  5. Hello, this is my first time posting on this forum. I am in the final stages of rebuilding my 46 Plymouth P-15 coupe. I dropped it off at the interior shop yesterday to have the headliner installed. I have already had all the window garnish trim pieces restored and painted to match the car and I have all the bows for the car. Unfortunately there seems to be a couple of other crutial pieces missing that I wasn't aware of. The shop owner informed me there are supposed to be metal edge pieces that screw into the tack strips above the doors that the headliner tucks under. My car was in boxes when I bought it 5 years ago and those pieces must have been misplaced either before I acquired the car or I have stored them somewhere and forgot about them. Anyway, I am in desperate need of finding or making these pieces. Can anyone give me a good source ot where I can purchase these strips or has anyone made them and can give me some direction of how I might make my own??? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
