Well I have been trying to figure out how to mount the brakes on the firewall and keep the clutch workin as well. I have a Suzuki Samurai that I hunt out of and the other day when I was drivin it the clutch popped and would not release. Any way when I was lookin at this the thought hit me, it is a cable operated clutch, I have another parts Sammy in the pasture. I removed the clutch/brake pedal and brake booster from the sammy and it mounted perfect on the firewall. All I need to do is make a bracket to support it on the column. I had a painless wiring harness from a 66 chevy pickup so I decided to modify it to work in the car. I got it wired where I can crank the car from inside like it is supposed to be. My next step is to get the clutch cable hooked up and the master cyl from a 78 Trans Am mounted and finish the disc conversion.
