  1. Thanks. I have one but it dosen't look like that. Ill probably have to make one of those too if I want to leave it in the stock location.
  2. Can anybody give me a picture of this? I din't think I have an original. Thanks, Don
  3. The line card on their site for Olds and Pontiac partis is the same as the Plymouth part line card I got from the Plymouth doctor. And the rocker panels inner and outer and the sill plates that I bought were very well made.
  4. I changed the stock springs out with the Areostar Moog CC850 units. I will be adding a good pair of gas shocks too. I swapped the sway bar out for a Jeep Cherokee part. The rear has rebuilt stock leaf springs. I add air shocks. I have started the interior insulation so I could mount the computers and get the engine management harness installed. Lots of wire to try and hide. Pictures to follow.
  5. A big thanks to all the Veterans on this Memorial Day! I finally got some primer on the body this morning
  6. The engine is back in. Working on exhaust now.
  7. Sshe was in for sosme more surgery yesterday. They are still worried abut infection in the bone. She has a tendon sticking out. I have to talk to her to get more information. This will be a long recovery process.
  8. I knew that LOL
  9. Settle down boys! No fighting! I hope not to copy anybody. I have the firewall painted and the engine back in. Working on hooking the exhaust to the headers and trying to pick out the mufflers. I had to take a week off to go to Alanta Ga. My daughter and son in law were coming back from Florida and had a freek accident where she was hit by a car. She lost 90 percent of the muscle in the underside of her forearm. She was lucky to even keep the forearm. Many surgeries to come. Now I am trying to get caught up on customer cars and gett something done on the wagon. Its Easter Sunday and I am doing a trans swap. I wil get some pictures up later. And thanks to LODI3QTR for the photoshopwork.
  10. The descision has been made! I am going with the gray and there is a very good possibility of having vinyl graphics made for the HEMI. I have been tossing this color thing around for too long. Gray or silver were considered along with a few others. I bought a quart of Gaynor Gray base paint and a quart of satin clear for the engine compartment today. So away we go.................................................
  11. The gray with the hemi is really cool! My buddy wants to go with a root beer metalliac. I wish I had the parts for the sliding rear windows. They are missing as the PO was making them a one piece glass.
  12. The adapter is a solid piece. The drive shaft has a slip joint in it. And I know you were kidding about the stiff neck. Color is still not picked out. I'm open for suggestions!
  13. AC unit is an add on off of Ebay. I don't expect a stiff neck unless I adjust it to blow right on me. It will be higher than my head because the new seats sit lower than the originals. It will be controlled from the dash. I don't know about weather strip yet. I have not checked into that yet.
  14. Here are some more body work pictures. Tailgate gaps are tightened up. Door and rocker gaps are tightened up too. Got some door lock rotor repair kits form Bernbaum. They are nice. Pictures of the air conditioner unit tucked up in the roof.
  15. Look at a Dodge Durango or a Chevy Suburban with rear air. The unit tucks up in the roof above the window openings. It cant even be seen from the out side of the car. It will blow over the heads of any rear seat occupants if ther are any. I will add pictures after I get the enclouser built for the unit.
  16. I found the bows this morning. I am mounting a big air conditioning unit at the C pillar. Suspended from the roof brace with a support bracket at the rear of the unit. So, I needed to plan this headliner thing out. I am going to enclose the air unit from the C pillar to the rear of the car. Think dropped celing. The head liner will be in the front area to the C pillar. Lokks like it will work just fine and look good too! thanks for the replies.
  17. Did a 50 Suburban have a headliner? If so does anybody have any pictures of the interior of one? Thanks, Don
  18. Thats exactally what I have. Thanks!
  19. Mine is bolted directly to the frame with no rubber insulator and it traps the inner fender bracket between the body mount and the frame mount. Is that the way it is supposed to be? I am getting ready to replace all of the rubber on the mounts. Thanks, Don
  20. With a big hammer and some filler you can make anything fit! The passenger door will need the most work closing up the gaps, but everyting else looks pretty good right now.
  21. Thank you!
  22. Ok after months here is an update. I finally found some parts on this car that aren't rusty. The tail gate upper and lower. We are rehanging the doors and fenders and getting ready to fill them and block sand to line up together. I have been busy remodeling a bath room, getting the wife healthy after knee surgery and working on customer cars. I hope to fire this up in March.
