51 Fargo

Hey thanks Merle it,s a 49 E brake is beside the shifter

ok I have had 3... 51 dodge pick ups and now I have a chance to get a 49 , I think there is no tags on this truck and I can,t tell if it is a 48 , 49 or a 50 can some body tell me how I can find out what year it is cause the front nose looks the same to me in all three years:confused: it does have the granny 4 speed in it and the cab has the corner windows,, gauge package is differant than the 51. any help as to finding out what year this is would be great . when I get it home it will be parted out so if ya need parts let me know I will post it up in parts for sale in a few days

yup the 360 sits nice in there here is mine .... with a little fire wall mod

So has anyone been watching the Barrett/Jackson Auction ? or I should say the Vette and Mustang auction with alot of commercials !!!! It was nice to see a 56 desoto Vert go for over 300.000 . But it killed me to see a Camero beat out a 68 hemi dart:eek:. There was alot of nice cars that went cheap and alot that should have went cheap and then there was ones that got way to much money for them . There is no way that anyone is going to tell me that they have a rare Vette or Mustang cause there are hundreds out there, my god half of them were at the auction . I think the guys running the auction should put a limit to how many vettes , mustangs,camero, to have in the auction , and stick to the classics and not the new stuff. No one wants to see a 2010 mustang or camaro. well I guess we will see what Sunday brings ............

your E brake set up is just like mine.... I got mine from a 81 dodge truck

ya I was about to say this is all nice to hear but some pics would be better LOLOL

here is the brake set up I used.. sits almost in the factory spot just a little trim in the floor pan.... after market corvette master and Vac boster . You use a Gm Porportioning valve for disc in front or gm one for drum all around.

hooded rings on the headlights and the bumpers are from a 49 plymouth antenna is from 77 cj jeep and it was the best place to put it

yes those were Fargo hub caps but sold them to a friend and not all cars/trucks in Canada rust !!!! most of the one that are like that come from the east coast of canada not the west coast any how to answer your other question the truck now sits on a stock frame with a Volare front clip and a B body dodge rear diff with the rear springs under slung the rear axle. this is why it sits lower

Well Mine started in Canada and then was down in Cali for most of it,s life then cam back to B.C Canada and looked like this when I got it ... and now looks like this today.....

even a harder one to find is the FARGO for the sides of the hood as well as the front center grill piece

maybe he should have come over to my buddy,s shop the day I did the burn out in his yard.... he might have learned something
