  1. Harvey It is very hard to find a visor to fit the trucks , the one you see on my truck now is the second one for it the first one was not wide enough but it does fit my 50 plymouth so I did luck out that way . I also now do have the problem of the hood hitting the visor when I try to fully open the hood . I guess you have to just deal with it when you have a visor on these trucks. I tried everything to not have the hood hit the visor but nothin worked . I myself think the truck has a whole new look with the visor. Yours looks great:)
  2. I hate to be the one to bring bad news BUT the brackets on the visor are to go on the inside of the door frame opening not to the roof here are some pics as to how they are mounted . you can move both sides of the visor to make it wider to fit the truck Unless you have a visor with a 7 Inch center section then it will be to narrow the Visor must have a 9 inch middle section to fit these trucks . Sorry if I stepped on anyones toes.. The truck is very nice
  3. You never have to worry how much snow has fallen if you own one of these 350 chevy powerd
  4. The roof had lights and I took them out welded the holes did some puddy work and primed it with red oxide primer that why it looks like it,s been there for years
  5. ok I added a pair of stainless eyebrows on the headlights, I know som e of you may think it ghey but I wanted to see if it gave it that 55 chevy look and I think it does . Also new door mirrors the pep ones don,t cut it on that truck also New center caps for the wheels oh I will be putting on a set of 49 plymouth bumpers as well...... as soon as they show up here. and last but not least a pic of the dash with mini tach on bottom right running at 650 rpm wish I could post video so you can hear how nice it sounds ... enjoy the pics
  6. Hey Bud The dash swap looks great Hey I have extra gauges from a 49-50 plymouth and radio grill as well If you need to replace any
  7. Well Bud It looks great ... I guess this means you will have to remove the seat frame from the floor so your seat will sit lower to look out the windshield. I have noticed that with the stock seat in my truck and me being 6 foot tall that if I want to look out the door window I have to tip my head down . So I can see that with a chop top the seat will have to sit lower in the cab .
