Thanks for the kind words guys, I think of it as another antique time machine to try and catch Peter Pan in. Here is a shot of the car with the stock wheels.

I have wanted one of these since high school and I have been looking since last Winter on the internet and asking everyone I meet if they know of one for sale. I finally found one too good to be true and went to see it and bought it. It is a numbers matching original car with 79800 miles totally unmolested 1967 Chevelle Malibu with a 250 ci straight six with a powerglide transmission. It should get 20mph, very rare to find one of these untouched down to the am radio in the dash. It also came with the original stock wheels and wheel covers which I will store for posterity.

I use one of the 100 watt bulbs in a drop-light inside my coal stoker stove in the basement during the summer to help keep the inside humidity down and help extend the life of the stove. https://www.amazon.com/Clear-Incandescent-Service-Medium-Lumens/dp/B07PNK9DQT/ref=sr_1_6?gclid=Cj0KCQiAiNnuBRD3ARIsAM8KmlvvtKNzYJbQSjShF9JWskQAt5YkjDKpM4Hrmv-HKSheD6TWYU7RGVIaAje3EALw_wcB&hvadid=177771783307&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=9007138&hvnetw=g&hvpos=1t1&hvqmt=e&hvrand=5493652688196301563&hvtargid=kwd-6313857201&hydadcr=8491_9883464&keywords=100+watt+incandescent+light+bulbs&qid=1574356549&sr=8-6 -
I`ve started building up my wheel weight inventory, there are eight types of clip-on weights and also adhesive weights. So far I have 475 assorted MC, 100 FN and 100 EN style clip-on weights and a good supply of adhesive weights. These things can be had pretty cheap in bulk if you shop around, mostly I`ve gotten them from ebay and amazon warehouse.

The one casualty of my road-trip to pick up the 650lb wheel balancer (besides my back) was a small ding/dent my truck`s tailgate received dead center above the tailgate`s handle. It pretty much resembled a typical parking lot door ding and it really got my goat as I was the responsible party. I lived with it for about 2 weeks but it bugged me every time I got in my truck. I thought about going to a paintless dent removal guy who does a day once a month at my friends auto-body shop but instead opted to cover it with an aftermarket emblem, it actually looks pretty good.

I changed out the 30watt solar panel for another 100watt panel and this time I found a deal on a Renogy monocrystalline panel and as advertised it out performs the existing Newpowa momocrystalline by about 4-5 volts in peak sun conditions. I now have twelve stainless steel vents in place and eight of them have 44cfm exhaust fans mounted on them. It sure makes quite a difference in the daytime temps of the container`s interior.

I did some more research and found out this tire machine was supposed to be equipped with a water-seperator/oiler unit. It finally explained what the empty bracket at the back of the machine was for. Luckily I had been hoarding a brand new one for over 20yrs in my stash of "stuff" and I was finally able to utilize it. I also replaced the incorrect closed flow air chuck with an open flow straight chuck.

On our homestead a pressure washer is a necessity for a myriad of chores, but there is a learning curve to using it. My Generac is 2700psi and can cut lines into concrete slabs and wood deck framing on its highest setting if one is not careful when using it.

Well I have been trying to broker a little time towards getting the balancer back to it`s useful function. These units were all made to be powered by 220 three phase voltage, but they also offered the options of 220 single phase and even 115 volts. Luckily there is a guy selling on ebay who replicates the static convertor needed to rewire and run the unit on 220 single phase power exactly to the original Coats specifications. It came quickly and included pretty decent rewiring instructions for the forward and reverse motor contactors. My unit was also missing the original squirrel cage cooling fan completely so I had to do a little metal fabrication to come up with a substitute cooling fan. Apparently these cooling fans were a poor design and were pretty famous for going bad and most just seem to just run without them.

Well fate stepped in and I ran into a listing for an older Coats Balancer that generally run from $750 to 1k used on ebay and Craigs List being sold for $100 bucks. So I took another 2hr road trip and grabbed it yesterday morning. The wife is just thrilled about this latest acquisition but it helps keep me out of the "pool-rooms and local saloons".

Installed some 12 volt lighting, two led spot lights with motion-sensors and a two sided led dome light.

Well the Wife`s new tire came along with the Bubble Balancer and weights so I ran out of excuses and got busy on her wheel. I was a little nervous as I had never used a rim-clamp before and it was a low-profile tire and a nice rim. But I have to say being an old hand with a Coats 20-20 these rim-clamps are amazing. Easiest tire I have ever mounted in my life, ridiculous easy it was. I am also pleased with the $50 chinese bubble balancer, it gave me a perfect balance and I think I will stop looking for a balance machine.

I repurposed a pair of crutches and part of an old industrial light fixture into a solar panel stand.

I cleaned some of the protective "grime" off the old girl and gave it a "lick of paint"here and there, I am getting the correct lubricant container with bead swab for it and I printed up a copy of the original manual for it.
