  1. they are not easy to find or cheap when you do. I looked for about a year before I found one in good shape.
  2. I used mostly #665-1362 for the nuts, they call them U-nuts, but I also got some #665-1254 for where I needed a bit more throat or length I guess you could call it... Bolts are #665-3376 and they come with the washer attached most of my original hardware was coarse thread with a different kind of clip nut, but I like these more
  3. I just went and bought all new hardware at NAPA, the have the 1/4-20 J nuts and bolts to go with it, boxes of 25 each for like 11 bucks a pop. Not the cheapest route, but since I have my entire front end apart, I figured I'd replace every fastener. I can get you stock numbers if you want
  4. I'd also like to know since I have my complete electric wiper set up listed in the classifieds... it didn't fit for me
  5. can you braze new metal into the pits and re-chrome that?
  6. I wish my dad had been even remotely interested in old cars when I was in high school. I always wanted to have a project to work on with him, still trying to convince him...
  7. I paid about 800 to have my front and rear seats done
  8. no title and ran when parked... classic ebay listing
  9. if it's the same place I'm thinking of here in St. Louis, they do really good work for a really good price. A friend of mine had some pieces chromed there and they look great.
  10. What is the best way to check one of the 1-wire sending units to make sure it works? Mine looks to be in great shape, came with the tank I bought, but doesn't work... what should I be checking for?
  11. I would get one with a sealed bearing
  12. I don't know... it's written in chalk, so that seems pretty legit
  13. thank you
  14. what is the Roberts site?
