  1. Thanks guys!! I this these at one time just couldn't find them in my papers.
  2. does anyone have the list of serial numbers for 1946-48 Plymouths including the early 49s that were really 48s just late??
  3. Does any one have a list of the serial Numbers for all the 46-48 Plymouths and the early 1949s that were really 48s??
  4. The one I have is a Blue Point Which is Snap-On, buts its over 60 years old. The new ones are 250. plus, but they last forever. Remember that every time you do brakes on a 62 and older mopar one is needed to do the back brakes.
  5. Don Thank you very much!! I have had it soaking thinking that it was just froze in there. I didnt want to beat on it so much that I messed up the pin and make it worse. MoParfinman
  6. Is there a side Front or back that you are to drive pin out from that holds king pin in?pg 272 1956 Dodge manual front end.pdf
  7. You posted some time ago and no one answered so I thought that I would. Dont know if you still need this information but here goes. The kit that I found for my 56 dodge is $535. IF you want to upgrade your front brakes to disc. can be done for around 500. in parts includeing the kit from Rustyhope.
  8. Really like your car. Thanks for the post. I have been wanting to hear from someone that has used Fatmans dropped uprights, to hear their thoughts. I will be doing this later this year on my 56 Dodge. And mabe on a 47 DeSoto.
  9. I know that this does not apply to 46-48 Ply. because they used stainless, but I have a 52 DeSoto and the grille teeth are pitted badly and one has a hole in it. How do you prepair them for chrome? or can they be repaired??
  10. I'm wanting to buy the dropped uprights for my 56 dodge. I have read most of this thread and some of it is confuesing. I also want to buy Rustyhopes disc. kit. How well does this ride and go together? I would like to have all parts before I tear it down. One place someone talked about the three bolt and the four bolt. I was told by one guy at a show (i think) that the DeSoto had the four bolt and that I could use it on my Dodge and that it was better. Is it just 55 and 56 that are the same? or are all these spindles 1940 to 1959 the same except for the 3 & 4 bolt issue? I have a 52 desoto that I could use as parts if so.
