Hello all. first post. I Just aquirred a '52 Ply Cranbrook from the local high school auto shop I have been eyeing for a while. The wife made it a present. So, both are obviously keepers. I have a shop manual in the works.
Questions:
1. What was the original battery size (group #)?
2. This one has the 'throw away' oil filter. How difficult will it be to find a filter with a replaceable cartridge? Is this block adaptable to a full flow setup?
3. The three on the tree shifter shifts like it's lubed with tar....anyone have experience with freeing this up.
4. How can I get 40's and 50's music to play through the stock 6 volt pos. grd. radio?? Note: This car will remain 6 volt with a 6 volt alternator as an upgrade.
