Putting things back just to fit..
  4. removal of the floor plates allows you to move the engine forward with pedals in place on the bellhousing. Now, in saying this the only differents is that my pedals are RHD being in Oz..
  5. I am a bit far away but love to come to your house.. I would really! Easy way to get it out is to remove the whole noose. Its only bolts and nuts, makes you job so much easier. My noose came of within 4 hours, 2 people caring it away from the truck. Then you have all the room to fiddle..
  6. And who would that be??
  7. Hey, thanks for that..
  8. so what do the nr on the block and head mean?
  9. By the way Tony or Gordon.. The head was already removed when I got the truck, now it seems I have no thermostate housing and the other top bit that sits on top of the waterpump. have any one of you got one spare?
  10. tony, more pics as promised

  15. Hi Tony, how are you? I will take more pics tomorrow when visiting my engine reconditioner and post them. In the mean time hope these will do.. Just a Q: Did my 1950 1/2 ton fargo come out with stainless grils? Or were they an extra option? If I can secure some i like to fit them to my truck.. Just starting my panel work.. hope to have it on the road around Dec this year:eek:
  16. I know this forum has the answers but I cannot find them. So, can you please help me with what the nrs and clock mean?
  17. Love the light...looks like this truck was a lot on the road at night!
  18. its easy when the noose is off.. but anyway here is what I did
  19. always great.. of chassis restoration see my pics..its a long process, specially if you cannot get into the garage for days on end...but then there are days you can and you see progress quick.
