  1. Thanks Tom. Yeah wasn't sure if it was mine or not. I had a glass guy install mine for me and I wasn't present when he did it so just curious if he installed mine right. He did a nice job. When he replaced the back center window gasket, he reinstalled the glass upside down (the label is now at the top, upside down). No biggie, just peaked my curiosity that he installed the window gasket correctly.
  2. Do you know which other truck it was besides yours?
  3. Tim, this year's BBQ had to have been the greatest gathering of Pilot-House trucks (both numbers and quality of people) maybe ever. I know every car show I go to always has TONS of Chevy's and Fords, but rarely ever any Dodge's and usually I'm the only Pilot-House. So what a pleasure it was to see all our wonderful collection of old Dodge trucks together in one place. Thanks again for hosting and all your hard work, as well as all the others that helped you.
  4. Thanks. She defiantly has a good eye....lol...
  5. Thanks, I'll check them out. It was great meeting you and talking to you Keven. Look forward to future BBQ's.
  6. I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the BBQ. It was my 1st time and I really enjoyed the experience. I will definitely be back. Also, I want to say how much I enjoyed meeting everyone who attended and to put a face with a computer name was great. I want to put a big "THANK YOU" out to Tim and all his helpers for all the planning, awards and work they did. Tim I really enjoyed meeting you, talking and visiting with you. Eric
  7. Keven made my gauge faces and they look great. Defiantly contact him to do those.
  8. Truck is loaded on the trailer, just putting together the final supplies ready to head out to the BBQ.
  9. Loading the truck on the trailer tonight after our baseball game. Hoping to leave the house at 7:00am. Should be there before 10:00am. Really looking forward to meeting/seeing everyone. Eric
  10. I used the Cordovan Brown from SEM
  11. I agree. This is definitely a great place to hang out. I could have never done the things I've done to my truck without the help and info I've gathered from the great people on this forum.
  12. I just completed my interior, so I'm hearing different sounds now, albeit many fewer sounds, but different sounds. There were sooo many noises and sounds before, I think they drown out the ones I'm hearing now. I've done the same thing. I hear a foreign noise and I immediately think "oh crap what's that and what's wrong now?"
  13. Yes, I marked and drilled the holes before I installed the rear window liner. I did that because pushed the headliner up as I moved along making the holes so that it would be pushed up tight against the top of the cab. Then when I installed the single piece rear window liner (thanks for helping Quiet rides with that, I really like it) I aligned the pre-drilled holes on the rear window liner with the holes I drilled in the headliner and pressed in the buttons. The two sets of holes didn't align perfectly because the pre-drilled holes in the rear window liner were off just a smidge, but they were close enough to fit the button through.
  14. I know I was sweating it a little bit. Here in Sebastopol it was calling for pretty solid rain on Friday night, of course while I'm loading up the trailer and getting ready for Sat. AM. Now we're downgraded to only 20% on Friday night and 30% on Saturday.
  15. Tim, just checked Lodi weather and it's been down graded....yeah....to cloudy and only 20% chance of showers. We'll continue to keep our fingers crossed.
  16. Great job. Look forward to meeting you at the BBQ.
  17. Yes, the lower panels are a 3 piece panel. The two corners go in first, then the middle panel overlaps them about 2". The corner panels were a little tricky to fit, I had to do a little trimming at the bottom to get them in. Quiet Rides now offers a 1 piece panel that spans the 3 windows, which I chose to use. The guy at Quiet Rides told me that they just recently added that to copy original panels.
  18. Awesome!!!... Love the Jerry can on the passenger side. Do you have one on the drivers side too?
  19. I have the Roberts seat covers and they are a lighter brown than the SEM paint I used. I like Merle's color match he used with the Krylon paint, but a friend highly recommended the SEM paint as well as Quiet Rides. After seeing the darker brown, I decided to go with it. I like the contrast it gives with the yellow. Some day when I reupholster my seats, I'll go with a darker brown to match the interior. So for now I'll have a bit of a two-toned brown interior.
  20. I used SEM Cordovan Brown.
  21. I installed the headliner and back panels this past weekend. It went pretty well, definitely a job for 2 people. I had to do a little cutting, trimming, drilling etc., but all in all, everything fit really well. The holes along the back ended up varying just a little. In the center it measured 3/4" up from the bottom edge. As you move from center to the left and right the 3 holes on each side progressively get higher. The far left and far right holes measured 1", so only a 1/4" difference overall. I pushed the headliner up and marked the holes as I worked from center out. The distance front to back along the center seam is 38".
  22. No, 1st weekend in a while I wasn't able to work on the truck. I opted to go "barrel tasting" at all the fabulous winery around here. The truck was calling my name for sure, but a day of wine tasting got in the way.....My goal is to finish before the BBQ. I'm hoping to get the headliner installed this weekend, so I'll definitely get those measurements for you.
  23. No problem, I'll do that and make note of it and let you know.
  24. Thanks Merle, that's very helpful. I'm finished with all my Dyna-mat and insulation, now I'm ready to start installing the headliner and panels. In an earlier post I was curious about the holes in the top of the headliner, then I realized there are no holes pre-drilled in the headliner for the sides or back either. Your picture above and explanation eases my curiosity.
