  1. Well crud. Woke up to a puddle of gas under the truck. The tank got damaged during the move.
  2. Look at the frame in the background. It's a '48 or '49 frame.

  4. Odd. I click on the link and auto plays???? Thanks Paul. I forgot how much I enjoy the smell of an old Dodge.
  5. LOL. I backed it out of the garage hit the brakes and ......... nothing. Drove it around the block though.
  6. The top rail of the seat frame should have two mounts that receive the pieces shown in the last pic. You need to push a pin through them. Here's a pic of what I'm talking about.
  7. It runs. Last registered in '96. http://vid306.photobucket.com/albums/nn241/KWPatty/DSCN34080053_zpsfa0r4jzp.mp4
  8. Thanks Brother. Miss you too.
  9. It fired up!!! Still got figure out the fuel system, but the motor runs.
  10. Never mind. I found the problem. You have to wire up the distributor.
  11. Did a search. Could only find threads dealing with 12 v conversions. I've got 6 v at the - side of the coil with the key on.
  12. Cap and rotor should be here today. Might be a little smoky in my driveway this evening.
  13. A little progress. It cranks over with the battery.
  14. LOL. Brent!!!!
  15. Quiet Ride head liner.
  16. You're the only person I've heard of complaining about his work or prices. You are absolutely entitled to share your experience here. Mine and others was certainly different. I used John's interior products based on other members purchases from other vendors. A seat splitting in 3 years means it's made of sub-grade material. My experience with Quiet Ride was terrible. Stitching that came apart, wasn't straight and holes in the material from earlier attempts. I valued his wife's input on color choices, but in the end chose what I wanted. Not what someone else wanted in my truck. He can make a one piece headliner, it would be cost prohibitive to ship it. I hope you don't mind replacing your interior in 3 or 4 years.
  17. Thanks. It's actually a '90 with 78k miles on it. Nearly ready for paint.
  18. I agree. You got some nice and rare stuff too.
  19. So you bought all the goodies.
  20. Just talked with John. He's not out of business. He's so busy he 'paused' his web site!!!
  21. Too bad about John. He is a true craftsman. Beautiful work, reasonably priced and the best customer service I've every had. Well worth the money!!! I hope he has a change of heart and gets back to the sewing machine.
  22. Thanks Jeff. Needs a cab swap. Motor turns over by hand. I'm getting the tune up parts ordered now. Maybe it runs??????
  23. Thanks Paul. Although it might be more work than I can do. LOL Mark. I borrowed Brent and his trailer. REALLY wish I'd known about the ferry on the way up. Cut off 2 1/2 hours.
