To me the following link leads to a perfect description of how the OD works.

Sorry for the "ford" in the name link :-)
Hi,
the radiator removal shall be first on my agenda. Looks simple, but than everything is quite tight in that area. Any tips on how to proceed (with the main aim: to remove as little other parts as possible). From my handbook I can see that it is only a question of three bolts. But than nothing is ever "only" :-).
thanks for any hints.
thanks for your confirmation.
By the way - is there any way to delete posts? e.g. this post is neither important nor relevant to most people and the issue has been resolved. But it is still going to lurk around with no need or relevance to anyone else. shouldn't it than not being deleted?
thanks for your advice on the latter question
Hi - just a brief question.
I am going to replace both bezels and replace them with "new" ones. Is there an easy trick to take them off? Obviously all the rest of the wiper motor set-up I would rather prefer not to have to touch :-)
Is it just a matter of unscrewing the nut?
thanks for any advice.
Not mine :-)

Well, needs serious cleaning so the selling text is somehow lying!!
Hi, does anyone own a trico parts catalog probably from the early 50s. Background: I have a trico parts list and I wanted to check its fit with a 1949 Plymouth.
The parts number is: 82776-1 .
thanks
YOf course. Now that you are saying it.
Funny item on eBay for a ridiculous price though
