  1. I had bought a set for my 1964 Plymouth. I came in a very large box and it was bent around a five gallon bucket. I was very pleased with the fit. I think that one came from inline tube
  2. I would check how far away they move the shock from the frame. i do like that mounting surface. I been thinking about my 1948 Desoto.
  3. I thought i had talked to Andys just a short while ago and he had them. I have the front end off my 1948 Desoto also. Good luck

  8. Lawless50 looks like you have most all of it. I have a few more that may help. one is the transmission. The other is the kick down . the transmission picture I need to shrink file to big.
  9. Lawless50 I will try to get you pictures Saturday of my 1950 Dodge. Carburetor, resister and circuit breaker, the the controls on the transmission. The Solenoid switch, governor and the interrupter. I made my own Harness you can see the colors of wire at all ends. I hope this will help. Good luck Frank
  10. I would ask for some more help. I have a 1948 Desoto i could measure and make a sketch of the bolt pattern for you. FYI i believe that all 1946 -1948 Chrysler, Desoto, Dodge, and Plymouth use the same front crossmember. So suspension's should interchange also. I do have a 1950 Dodge also, i will check that crossmember to see by chance its the same. Good luck Frank
  11. Good afternoon, I also have a 1950 Dodge with a Gyro matic. The 1948 Desoto i have has a carter carburatore. The shop Manuels look like the wiring is the same, the resistor and the circuit breaker to the transmission controls. I have not tried to swap carburetors yet but it is on my list real soon. A while back someone some one wired up switches to take place of the controls on the carburetor i never saw any results on that post. Good luck
  12. Mezz, You parts look Fabulous Congratulations. I would like to read more as you move forward. Frank
  13. I was flipping thought Face Book and found an add for a “ Chrysler flathead 6” Out off an old Power Wagon. The distributor is on the front of the engine, the number one exhaust manifold runs over the intake not under like i see most of the time . Can someone tell me what i found.Still has its tranny on it also. Thank you Frank
  14. I have had trouble with my 1950 Dodge,BXVES and it turned out to be a bad carb to intake gasket. Good luck
  15. The inspection / floor pan on my 1948 Desoto came off from the inside. your cable also clamps to the steering column. You might be able to do the rest from inside. Good luck Frank
