  1. Sorry Tod, I am going to use your post as a refresher placemark. I have not posted in a number of years and figured some forums kick off people that do not post every so often. I still lurk and don't want to lose my username (though I lost my old name of LowOiL already)... Thanks for your posts gang, long time lurker.
  2. Ed, glad you are ok.. so very sorry this happened... I know it broke your heart..
  3. Pat, Little rough for my tastes... can't find it now. Whew..
  4. Looks like someone has found a person to design stamping dyes for them to use with a old 500 ton press... Finding them old dyes from manufacturer would be worth a gold mine, cause designing them takes forever and lots of money. Some of the parts look like they would take two and three process hiting too, thus requireing seperate dyes and the process of taking out old dyes and putting in the other dyes.
  5. Some say rince cold water to remove as much ink as possible.. (you can skip this by now since you have done what you have) Then rub with Ivory soap (pure bar)... Wash using hot water and a color safe none clorine bleach laundry detergent (like liquid tide with bleach alternative).... ======================= Or use "FOLEX" instant carpet spot cleaner....no rinsing... I perfer the Folex personally ... Walmart about 5 or 6 bucks.. lots of cleaners there, so here is description... it is white 32oz bottle with purple writting... ============= Sooner the better..
  6. I got to give ya your first thumbs up and comment too.
  7. Yeah yeah, the real story below...
  8. I do the gas at night also, less likely to get stung and all the critters in are the hole so you don't get lost bees flying around for 7 days looking for their hole again. Had to kill a nest tonight actually, this time I did it a little different... I tunneled for the last two nights and dug up under the nest without disturbing the bees in their slumber, and put a big 30 gallon tub under the area of the nest Tonight I poured the gas into the nest hole, tommorrow I plan to retrieve the gas that leaked through the soil back into the 30 gallon wash tub under the nest and to pour it back into my truck to use. At 4 bucks a gallon... you gotta recycle...
  9. Yep, that is where I got the picture... My wife's grandmother gets it and passes it on to us when she get done with it.
  10. Thought yall would get a kick outa this ...
  11. Yeah, pretty much... Grandpa ran a dealership way back... all that is left is some odds and ends now, most not worth time to identify... I hated ebaying anyway (I don't think I have sold anything for over a year now) and I just enjoy the atmosphere here now... Sorry about rating this thread.. Was just playing with options, didn't know it would display. Forum has lots of bells and whistles now... Actually, the main problem was requiring a 8 letter username instead of just the 6 I usually use. So not only had I lost my password, but my user name... I finally took a smart pill I found under the rabbit cage and remembered I had a profile... So was able to find my old user name, but then I couldn't get any of my regular diviations of passwords to work before I timed out (allowed only 5 tries)... Frustrated, I abandoned trying again... Don suggested I email our fearless leader... he kindly reset me which allowed me to reregister. Now I need only to figure out how to delete my old profile name. Maybe I will just leave it...
  12. Thanks for the welcome gang... Yeah, I always liked the gang that hung out here... Some rough around the edges, some refined liked wine, some brilliant beyond compare...but like parts of a car, they worked together to make a great product.. most seemed friendly beyond what usually resides on the web... just good honest folks sharing and comparing and having fun... Yeah, this place is special... and you know it don't ya...
  13. He is a pretty weird fellow I've heard...
