mpn23748 Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 I was hoping someone could help me ID this flathead I have found, here is what I know, found in junk yard in Canada. 1.265 cu., stroke measures 4.75" 3 7/16 bore .040 over 2. full flow oil system with spin on filter 3. no numbers on the flat area on top left side of block 4. here are the #'s it does have: - left side of block below distributor 03086 - by starter CWC3 A28 22 1400229 5. oil pan sealing surface G4445 G974 Thanks Quote
greg g Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 no numbers usually indicates a block sold by chrysler to an independent rebuilder, liscenced rebuilder, or for stationary applications such as pumps, welders, or compressors. or airport tugs, forklfts, and agricultural applications. In your area Cockshutt tractors and combines used them as well as massey harris combines. What color is it or what colors has it been painted. Quote
