windsor8 Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 Today was the first official outing for my Dodge at a local cruise in. It has been under construction for not quite 2 years. Only have about 20 miles on so I'm still road testing. Quote
wills 51 Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 Good to hear, I finally got to drive my 50 desoto yesterday for the first time since I bought it.. Quote
Normspeed Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 That's great. The visor looks good on there. Nice coupe. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 Windsor.....your coupe looks nice. Bet it gets lots of lookers at the cruise-in. Will......always makes a person feel good to have accomplished the job of getting the car on the road. Quote
Andydodge Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 Congratulations, it looks a nice job, I like the red rims, always good to see another on the road........andyd Quote
Ed Griffin Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 It's good to see another D24 hit the road. Your coupe looks good. Glad to see the red wheels on there. Mine were painted over but have began to peal and under you can see the red. Paint on your car looks a lot like mine too so it gives a better perspective. Has me convinced to go with red. Having your car down does have some advantages. You have lots of time to prepare Quote
John Mulders Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 looks good ! Enjoy driving after all the work Quote
Uncle-Pekka Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 Handsome coupe, congratulations! Great shade of green color, what code/color is that? Quote
windsor8 Posted July 7, 2008 Author Report Posted July 7, 2008 Thanks for all the positive response. Also thanks to all my friends that helped , advised and encouraged me and to my wife for her complete approval and support. A big thanks to everyone on this site and others for their input and suggestions and the sharing of their knowledge. Wow!, it sounds like I'm running for public office. I still have a few minor issues but the big thing is it runs, drives, steers, stop and that other car stuff that it should do. Thanks Quote
