BobT-47P15 Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 Don, have a safe trip. Just be glad you're driving the P15 instead of the one in this picture......... Or....this one.....of course they said it gets 100 miles per gallon. Quote
daddyo23 Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 Wish I had time to travel. Enjoy and look forward to some pics. Quote
Don Coatney Posted June 14, 2008 Author Report Posted June 14, 2008 Arrived in Virginia and I am camped out in front of the motel air conditioner. Car ran great. Total of about 700 miles to get here. I stopped to visit with Jim Yergan. He is busy getting his car ready for the show tomorrow. Here are a couple of sunrise shots. One in Tennessee, one in Virginia. Quote
Don Coatney Posted June 14, 2008 Author Report Posted June 14, 2008 Don't ferget a fan belt and a spare tire.....Take someone along to change the tire in case it does start to leak:D John I dont have a belt driven fan (it is lectric) so no need to take a fan belt. I did bring some spare lectricity:D Quote
Don Coatney Posted June 14, 2008 Author Report Posted June 14, 2008 Just heard from Greg. He is still in Pennsylvania. He stopped for lunch and his engine was a bit warm. He is letting it cool off a bit and expects to arrive here around 3-3:30. Quote
steveplym Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 Nothing like seeing the sunrise across the hood of a P-15. Makes me wish mine was back on the road. A few more months and it will be. Great pics Don, enjoy the trip. Quote
Don Coatney Posted June 14, 2008 Author Report Posted June 14, 2008 I just got off the phone with Rodney. He will meet us later this evening for the cruise in and for chow. He told me he would buy my supper as I bought his last time. I told him not to worry about it as he could fill my gas tank and we would be even:D Quote
Rodney Bullock Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 I rather pay for Don's electric bill than that gas bill, I hope that this stuff comes back down as I will be building a go cart next:mad: By the way look at this pic of the sky. You can see here that Don was impressing this guy with all the dohiccies under his hood. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 I think you all got the same kind of rainy weather out there that we've been having here in Missouri. In fact, the sky is overcast right now (11:00 a.m. on Monday 6/16). Quote
