greg g Posted May 31, 2008 Report Posted May 31, 2008 Saw some damage in Indy, and parts of MO. and others. Guess we gotta keep an eye out today also. Quote
Normspeed Posted May 31, 2008 Report Posted May 31, 2008 We had some tornadoes out to the east in the Riverside area last week. Really unusual for California. Quote
Suddensix Posted May 31, 2008 Report Posted May 31, 2008 I didn't think anything was unusual in California! Quote
randroid Posted June 1, 2008 Report Posted June 1, 2008 greg g, Thanks for asking, but those of us from this neck of Colorado came out okay last week. We live close enough to the base of the Rockies (a couple miles) that the winds can't mature into full tornados until they get a few miles East of us. The damage that occurred was enough to really screw-up 86 homes and a ball park but the local weather people take this stuff seriously and everybody listening to anything like a radio or TV or the internet got at least two hour's warning and human casualties were kept at a minimum. Again. thanks for asking. -Randy Quote
FMSPEED49 Posted June 1, 2008 Report Posted June 1, 2008 no tornados closer than 5 miles, but my 05 dodge truck has 4800 worth of hail damage, my 2008 camper is gonna be totaled due to holes punched clean through it. and a new roof on a 2 year old house. But the good news is the 49' was tucked away safely in the shop. Quote
Jim Saraceno Posted June 1, 2008 Report Posted June 1, 2008 The worst I can say about the St. Louis area is it's going to be a while before I can get my canoe on the river to go fishing. Quote
