Tim, I would personally prefer if the wire wheels on the wagon were the

same color green as the body, rather than matching the top....if whitewalls are used. Maybe there were black sidewalls when the wagon was purchased. Evidently wheels may have been white when new. I think the ones on my car must have come white also....can't find a trace so far of any other color. On my 47 Plym coupe back in the 70s, the same type wires were

painted silver. Don't know what they had been on before I bought them. I think Chrysler color-keyed those wheels in their own style back then.

Can't say as I've ever seen a hood ornament like that on a 54 Dodge. Only seen ones with the ram's head.

Perhaps an aftermarket item.

Have never seen a paint scheme like this one before, either. Has ram ornament on hood.

And then, there was that good looking 1954 pace car......

ornament has striking resemblance to the 50 Studebaker..the Stude had the long point but the wings were a tad shorter and chromed metal. I am not sure of the color of the wires for this year...but for 1954 they were two choices..set of 5 chromed or set of fine painted, beige, both had same center caps.

I have seen a dark green over light green 54 Dodge with dark green wire

wheels, which may have been ordered originally. Probably could get various colors if ordered.

I guess anything is possible..but I have never read about body color wires..I have seen a few of the 54's in pictures with the continental kit...saw one for sale...just not my cup of tea option. The flare on the Dodge fender openings forced the higher location of the trim...stark difference compared to the Plymouth
