Reg Evans Posted December 13, 2007 Report Posted December 13, 2007 A bud of mine wants to trade me an OD 3 on the tree for this. Pound for pound I'm gettin screwed. But....think of the gas I'll save while driving Elbert! Quote
oldmopar Posted December 13, 2007 Report Posted December 13, 2007 Not a good deal you can always find another od trans but how could you ever duplicate that one of a kind vehicle. And speaking of pound for pound if you scrapped it you could buy 2 od transmission at todays scrap prices Quote
48Dodger Posted December 13, 2007 Report Posted December 13, 2007 Well....the nice thing about friends is you may get it back for a pair of hubcaps and a tire jack. How good a "bud" and how good a O.D. are we talkin' here? 48D Quote
Reg Evans Posted December 13, 2007 Author Report Posted December 13, 2007 There's some truth to what you say. Quote

Maybe I'll say OK if he agrees to install the OD and make it work properly. Better deal eh? Quote
48Dodger Posted December 13, 2007 Report Posted December 13, 2007 Sounds like you want to O.D..........I say focus on Elbert, get the project where you want it, THEN see where the tower is at. Other than that, get everthing you can out of the deal. JMHO 48D Quote
