Anybody remember the gentleman that had a bearing kit?

Hello guys,

 

do you remember the gentleman that had the bearing kit that would sell a spacer/bushing that allowed bearings for a 72 dart to fit onto a 53 spindle?

that would depend on the kit and adapter being sold.  One kit has a spacer another more of a stepped bush.  These are the only two I am familiar with.  The stepped bush was to my thinking was of the first kit on the market for these older Mopars.  What/where did your kit originate or are you rolling your own.

well, you may need to post a picture of your kit and see if it can be recognized by someone who kept a history of their install.  I could do like you and take a guess....but we be back at square one.
