Finishing off the Asche project - Engine Detail using laser cut 3D lettering..

In order to finish off the Asche project I went about figuring out how to design a 3D laser cut stainless  badge for the engine. 

I though maybe somebody might find this interesting. About 4 hours of time mostly in carefully getting the letters out of the background field.

It was a nice break for a change. It worked out perfectly and surprised me how the letters flash nicely.  It hangs off of the 5/16 rod return spring piece I mentioned in my video last week. 

Trying to keep up in both worlds.....

That looks very nice.

I had the pleasure of meeting him yesterday. I took my overdrive transmission to him to rebuild. He is such a wealth of knowledge. He showed me some of the linkages he has as well as the manifolds he had casted. He has some nice cars too. The roadster awesome. I also like the 50 4 dr.
