mikes48
I'm in the process of replacing all of my glass and seals. My kit did not include the gasket that goes under the windshield garnish molding. I did some searching, but couldn't come up with anything. Does anyone know what this is called? It looks like fender welting. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. ggdad1951
Only the earlier B series had this. My B3's don't have it, so unless you are going for the full score on a resto, you could ignore it.
David A.
Yes, I used fender welting when I did mine. As ggdad said, it isn’t really needed unless you are going for originality.
mikes48
I'm not going for originality. I'll see what it looks like without it. If I don't like it I guess I'll use fender welting. If only both of my windshield pieces were not broken when I received them... Lol Thanks for everyone's input.
