Kenneth Foit Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 I need a glove box for a 1950 B2-HHMA. I think all the glove boxes are the same for all Dodge trucks from 1948 through 1953. Maybe beyond 1953. Roberts Motor parts has them for the years 1939-47 for $22, but not in our years. Atlas has them for $37+10 S&H. Is there anything else around that is less expensive? I may have to modify a small plastic waste basket if all else fails. Any Ideas? Ken, Indy Quote
anthonyb Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 Ken, Get some of the panel board used for door panels, etc., and cut it yourself to fit the space you have. Heavy cardboard, not the corrugated type, should also work. Paper tape to hold it together initially and then fiberglass over the outside for permanent assembly. You can also 'glas the inside if so inclined. That's the way I did mine. Well.... it will be as soon as I get off my duff and get it 'glassed. BTW, How did the brake job turn out??? Tony B Quote
Merle Coggins Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 I got my glove box from Roberts. It's in their catalog as Item # T210 for 48-53 trucks at $22.00 each. Merle Quote
Tony_Urwin Posted November 14, 2007 Report Posted November 14, 2007 I see them on eBay all the time. The guy who sells them has 2 models, one for trucks with defrost and one for trucks without defrost. Quote

Kenneth Foit Posted December 4, 2007 Author Report Posted December 4, 2007 Thanks for the info.I think I will call Roberts to confirm that they don't have a glove box in our years. If all else fails, I make one. Ken, Indy Quote
