My starter went out in my 230 and I was hunting around and came across this replacement starter. Has anyone used one personally in their car? Did you like the results and does it perform well? I am out in the middle of no where and the closest rebuilder is about 85 miles from me and from what I have read sourcing parts for the factory starter is getting harder and harder. My car has been converted to 12v with all modern wiring but my starter was still 6v, if I found a rebuilder I would have it set up for 12v as well.

Have also seen rebuilt ones on eBay and Amazon but the reviews aren’t promising.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Brad
