mikes48 Posted March 1, 2023 Report Posted March 1, 2023 I'm looking for a good place to get the rubber cab mounts for my 48 b1c. I'm not doing a stock restoration so I'm open to any suggestions. Reasonably priced wouldn't be bad either... Quote
Lingle Posted March 1, 2023 Report Posted March 1, 2023 I got mine from DCM Classics and have been happy with them. You can get a kit for $65 plus shipping. the kit does 2 of the 4 mounts so $130 plus tax and shipping. some have recommended for the drivers front upper mount to use a hockey puck since factory had a very hard mount. I chose to use the mounts from DCM as is, since I am not keeping the factory clutch/brake setup. Quote
mikes48 Posted March 1, 2023 Author Report Posted March 1, 2023 Thanks Lingle. I did not realize that they used a harder durometer rubber on the drivers side. That certainly explains why that was was hard as a rock and cracked and the other ones were not. I was looking at the DCM mounts as well. I'm not keeping the factory pedals either. Quote
ggdad1951 Posted March 1, 2023 Report Posted March 1, 2023 hockey pucks cut to size have been used for that. Quote
