motoMark Posted December 17, 2022 Report Posted December 17, 2022 The wiper link that connects the crank arm of the motor to the drivers side pivot assembly has a real sloppy eyelet on one end, which causes the driver's wiper blade not to work properly. The round hole in the link is now oblong due to wear. Does anyone have the part number for this link? I may be able to fix it, but would like to have the part number in case I want to look for a replacement. Thanks. Quote
motoMark Posted December 17, 2022 Author Report Posted December 17, 2022 Forgot to mention it's for my 51 Plymouth Cambridge, duh.... Quote
Sniper Posted December 17, 2022 Report Posted December 17, 2022 The reason it wore out is that it wasn't lubricated per schedule. Yes, the pivots need lubed. You might be able to retrofit some oilite bushings at the pivot points, Aircraft Spruce looks like they might have something that will work. https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/hapages/flangedbushings.php?clickkey=7446 Interesting that the part number is circled in my copy of the parts book Quote
