jsd245 Posted January 9, 2022 Author Report Posted January 9, 2022 I’m not getting the hint hint nudge nudge? Think that booster is undersized for the master? Quote
Brent B3B Posted January 9, 2022 Report Posted January 9, 2022 No, I don’t think it’s undersized. you mentioned rebuilding the MC at some point. It appeared to me you like to do research….. just trying to help. ? if you do have the 1-1/2” MC, might be worth looking for a kit now. 1-1/2” not as common from what I’ve noticed ( of course, that could just be my area also) Quote

Hopefully it’s not too far gone to rebuild. Looks like a new one is pretty pricey. I like to use a pressure bleeder- these master cylinders seem to have a threaded plug which I don’t have any kind of adapter for. Anyone know what the thread is on these? Quote

JSD’s booster being under the hood, led me to think there was a possibility someone added the booster and could have altered or exchanged the MC. from his little baggie I’d say it Looks like he is good to go. JSD, if it is “too far gone” they can re-sleeve it. The last one I had done, they didn’t have the 1-1/2” kit….. but your covered there Quote
