Old octane boost

Do any of you have knowledge of how old is to old for sealed cans of Torco octane Boost.

My mother in law gave me a case that has to be about eight years old, My late Father in laws .

I think it should be disposed of any ideals?

Put half the amount called for in a fresh tank, burn it up and blow it out.  Doubt that a half Can in 16 gallons would have much negative effect.
