later Posted October 17, 2007 Report Posted October 17, 2007 Ran across this on craigslist, thought someone could use parts or save it. http://madison.craigslist.org/pts/451601070.html Quote
Young Ed Posted October 17, 2007 Report Posted October 17, 2007 Seems quite overpriced for a parts car. Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted October 17, 2007 Report Posted October 17, 2007 That's right in my neck of the woods. I'll pass though. I'm waiting for the guy to get tired of the P15 club coupe he's had sitting off to the side of his driveway for 30 years to sell. It's only a few blocks from me. Looks a little worse each year. Ed, $1250 might not be a bad price. Guy says he doesn't have a title. Could be why he listed it as a parts car. It may be good enough to rebuild. Quote
later Posted October 17, 2007 Author Report Posted October 17, 2007 I bought my C38 without a title. I had to write a letter explaining how I got the car, names-places. Then I had to have a police officer verify the ID number. I sent that in to the DMV and got a title and hobbyist plates. I actually found a person at the DMV who knew what to do. Thats why I posted this, I hate to see old iron wasted and I don't have room/money for another project. Quote
oldmopar Posted October 17, 2007 Report Posted October 17, 2007 I have found sellers on craigs list price items high because its free. I had made 2 purchases from there and both times the sellers accepted my offers which were quite a bit lower then the asking price. Quote

Norm's Coupe Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 Bill, if you don't like what you see in the 48, you can buy this 57 for a mere $20,000.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Plymouth-Fury-FURY-1957-Plymouth-FURY-very-rare-NO-RESERVE_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6411QQihZ008QQitemZ180170512999QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW Quote
