Guest 57plymouth Posted October 15, 2007 Report Posted October 15, 2007 I was noodling around looking at options for the wife's 69 RS/SS Camaro project and hit this site: http://www.scandc.com/ Look in the photos section. They have a Pilot House truck with a turbo Flattie. It may even have Fuel Infection! I sent an e-mail asking for more pics. If I get them, I'll post them up. Quote
PatS.... Posted October 15, 2007 Report Posted October 15, 2007 That's wild!! Looks like a car, though unless some pilothouses had independent front suspension. I'd have to loose the Fluid Drive to try any of that exotic stuff OOPPSS Didn't go down far enough! Wasn't expecting two modified flatties on one site. Here's the Pilothouse: Quote
Mr. Belvedere Posted October 15, 2007 Report Posted October 15, 2007 Just when ya think you've seen it all! Quote
mackster Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 I like that! I have a turbo that I wanted to install off a mitsubishi (89?) to my flat six, I was interested for a bit to go that route......but when I hit this website I changed my route to dual carbs! that's where is at right guys? greg g Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 Here is a home grown turbo on a flat 6 Studebaker, Looks very familiar doesn't it???? http://salt2salt.com/TurboStude/buildingts.htm Quote
Guest 57plymouth Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 That PVC looks pretty shoddy. He should have dropped the other foot and had some exhaust tubing bent up. Quote
greg g Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 I believe this is prototyping, and more aesthetic plumbing was used on the finished product. Or maybe he just painted the PVC with cast iron paint...... Quote
