The one in my 1951 coronet vert is not good. its grinds as it shifts up. electrics seem fine. so rather then mess with it I am thinking of just replacing it with a good working one. My understanding is that my 51 coronet has an M6. I probably just need the unit with out the fluid drive. please see the attached pic Thank you, Alex Quote

The car had a frame of resto back in 1991. since then the car did not get much mileage. The leaky master cylinder striped some of the black chassis paint. It hurt when I saw that. since then i converted to DOT 5. I hope to avoid any more paint striped if I have another brake fluid accident. Thanks Alex Quote

I am thinking they should close in weight as they are close in size. was it pricey to ship? who did you use? Thanks Alex Quote
