38plymouth Posted November 26, 2019 Report Posted November 26, 2019 Getting ready to replace the seal on my trunk lid. I will have the lid off and it is getting repainted before putting the new seal back in. Any tips to make the job easier? I'm figuring a heat gun and some scrapers. This seal is old and possibly the original. Quote
Eneto-55 Posted November 26, 2019 Report Posted November 26, 2019 The age old question: Is it on the lid, or in the groove around the deck lid opening? ..... Quote
desoto1939 Posted November 26, 2019 Report Posted November 26, 2019 If its in the groove around then edge then get some 3M yellow glue and this willhold it in place. Do a test fit first to make sure you are putting it in the correct way to make a tight seal. Rich HArtung Quote
