Young Ed Posted September 10, 2007 Report Posted September 10, 2007 Now you guys know why a 6v battery costs so much these days! Quote
toddbracik Posted September 10, 2007 Report Posted September 10, 2007 I didn't get a free lead paint coffee cup but a few years ago I bought a made in china anvil thinking what could I lose? Well, I got it home and noticed a couple of small divots on the point so I got out the grinder to smooth them out. Well, when I grinded through the blue paint, it became apparent that the thick primer layer was actually bondo and it kept on going as did the divots. I put down the grinder and just shook my head. It just seemed funny to me that a company would actually even consider putting out a useless product like that even if its cheap and after grinding on it I'm stuck with a $40 boat anchor. I guess it beats lead poisoning. Todd B. Quote
