Vet's day camping trip

I had a great time at a local lake for the weekend. It was chilly and windy but I had a ball. The car, teardrop and folding boat drew a lot of curious folks. And stopping off at Bob Amos' shop in Riverside was great fun.

Here are a few photos from the trip. I caught some trout and bass but I released everything. The used 3 speed tranny I installed is working just fine, but I'm anxious to get going on my overdrive rebuild.

I have used weiners for bait to good effect on several fishing trips. Work good on Catfish.........

Norm stopped by my shop on his way to the lake. Those dogs of his are the best behaved dogs that I have ever seen. Wish mine were half as well behaved as his.. Hey, I wish my kids were half as well behaved as his dogs.
