Iowaboy Posted November 7, 2017 Report Posted November 7, 2017 The heater in my truck is a HaDees as you can see. I am pretty sure it is original equipment, although it is not Mopar. The sales receipt for the truck shows that a heater was installed in the truck at the dealership. The heater runs but not sure it blows hot air yet. I have researched the heater and they were installed in vehicles as early as 1932. I know that this heater was in the truck in 1964, when I first rode in it. Does anyone have one like it? Maybe this dealership in western Colorado had some old ones and put one in this truck. Ebay has some old ones similar listed as HaDees----hotter than hell. LOL. Quote
greg g Posted November 7, 2017 Report Posted November 7, 2017 Dealers were pretty much free to source accessories like heaters wherever they chose. Hadees was aside business of a piston ring company out of Rockford I'll. Quote
Bobacuda Posted November 7, 2017 Report Posted November 7, 2017 Mine looks like that, but it does not have the "brand name" on it. Quote
