NiftyFifty
Well my headers by Moose are on....and not so sure I would recommend to others to buy these...the welding was sloppy, he never even ground the slag off before shipping them, and 4 holes that he drills already too big still had to be oblonged to make them fit. Do they look cool on there...heck ya...functionality...well I can't test that anytime soon because I need to do my rear main and the gasket set I got a few years ago is missing the actual real main rubber/metal gaskets, so I'm now waiting till end of next week to get them shipped out. I'm sticking with my original intake for now, just need to do the Devils Lake car show and then I'll start building a new 2 barrel custom intake. 55 Fargo
Have you let Moose know your complaints? That would be the 1st thing to do, if not satisfied with a product. Or you could have bought a George Asche dual exhaust manifold if available. Moose's headers are reputed to be quite good,in design and flow, much better than those Langdon cast headers according to my sources... NiftyFifty
Sent an email Saturday when I was installing...no response so far.
John-T-53
I have a set of Langdon's cast headers and they at least look legit, however they're not installed yet. I would expect them to flow much better than the stock log manifold. One of the local forum/club members out this way has a set installed on his truck and has reported only good things, which led me to purchase the set I have, after seeing and hearing this member's truck in person. What is this "moose" outfit that makes the tube headers?
NiftyFifty
He's just an independent guy who makes custom exhaust and intake manifolds, I won't bother to share his info further, so far not looking to promote his brand...literally looked like a spider web inside the tubes where he burnt through with mig wire...I cleaned it out, but still...if not for the bends, I know I could have built a better set

If someone is building a lot of these, tig would be nice, wouldn't it? And a good tube bending machine.
NiftyFifty
Well Ryan came through, he got my e-mail from Saturday and apologized and offered a few different options for recourse, and was very generous in his offer. I won't go into the details of that, but I do feel a little better that I didn't just get hosed on these headers, and nobody stood behind them. I'll keep you posted on how they work once I get running again...hopefully Thursday my seal comes in and Friday the new exhaust goes on.
