Yes it just a press fit and really not all that tight.

You can remove it by using a socket that matches closely the OD of the sleeve.

Install is also easy with a vise just align the two parts in the vise and tighten. If yours is still a greasable type make sure to align the small notch in the hosing and the similar spot in the bearing. Your year however does not have a greasable type sleeve and bearing from the factory it is a sealed type. Just mentioned  in case.

Bearing should be avail. locally as it is not that special. Take the used one to a good full stocked parts store as they should be to help you.

Her is the throw out bearing number,

 

Accoding to my Federal Ball Bearing clutch release catalog

1942-52 Conventioanl Drive  factory number 862859   federal number 2p-1054 bearing and housing, bearing only 658998   bearing only 1054

Fluid drive housing and bearing complete assembly c1055  and bearing only 1054.
