SteveMopar Posted December 11, 2016 Report Posted December 11, 2016 (edited) Evening all, I'm new to the forum, new to old Mopars, I have looked over past threads and checked out the resource and technical sections but can't find the info I want. What sort of lubrication system is on these old flatheads, full pressure, top end only, or splash fed. Excuse my ignorance, just soaking up all the new info. Plymouthy Adams Posted December 11, 2016 Report Posted December 11, 2016 full pressured with pump....the filtration is full on some larger models, and by pass on all others. A service manual has the full operational blurb and pictorial on the system...being new to these cars increase you learning curve greatly by purchasing a book...be the best tool in your tool box when time to make repairs or testing of systems. 2 Quote
Don Coatney Posted December 11, 2016 Report Posted December 11, 2016 While you wait for the service manual to arrive click on all the links on this forum found above three lines from the top. Lots of good information can be found there. This should be required reading for all. Quote
