At least you know it is a Chrysler trans.  It is a manual not a torqueflite. and the year it came out of the truck.  Are you looking for internal parts to replace any parts, are you planning to resue this in another truck.

I do not know who manuafactured the trans for Chrysler and not sure if anyone can be that specific.  I do have a Borg Warner Trans and reaend catalog that lists the various components that can be used to replace the internal parts if that is what you are after.

I looked in my Hollander book and from what I can find this is a T251 Transmission  and main drive gear is aT251-16

This gearbox is the original 3 speed from truck which is a 1946 Dodge WC civilian pick up. It needs cluster gear OR I buy a good used 3 speed replacement tranny.

That part on ebay is the countershaft cluster.  I think he needs a Pinion which has the third gear and a second speed gear, plus a clutch gear and sleeve assembly.  A parts book is one of your best friends.

Denis in the second post  from actionmp he stated he might need the cluster gear and that is what is in the picture the cluster gear.  I also sent him an IM stating that I have a borg warner transmission catalog that lists all of the internal parts for this trans. Waiting to hear back from him to see if he want a copy of the page.

Most common to fail would be the cluster on the main shaft.  That consists of the collar, the clutch gear, synchro rings, synchronizer springs (2) and synchronizer shift plates (3).  Usually third gear, which is the input gear, teeth will be worn.  I think the question might be which cluster gear.  A picture would help and this is why I recommend a parts book as well a repair manual.  Call Gary @ Roberts Motor Parts, he can have those to you in a few days or less.
