Dwell meter

Need someone that knows how to use a dwell meter on our engines to enlighten me.  I have never used one. Thanks.

Connect one lead to the distributor to coil primary wire and the other to ground. You can do it on the bench using a power supply and an electric drill. By doing it this way you can adjust the point gap (dwell) while the distributor is spinning.
