Don Coatney Posted July 15, 2007 Report Posted July 15, 2007 While back I purchased a shrinking disc...this morning I went out and fitted it to my big electric grinder...we have shrinkage..I had a high crease line about 7 inches in a slow arc..and it is now gone..for the life of me I cannot explain the crease..how it got there or anything close to that fact..usually pretty good at reading a crime scene...had to address this prior to priming the door..I recommend this tool.... Tim; Sounds like a good climax but what tool are you talking about? I am almost afraid to ask for a picture. Quote
Don Coatney Posted July 15, 2007 Report Posted July 15, 2007 How does this work? A friction heat process? I once hired a metal specialist to remove some wrinkles from the bottom of an industrial cheese vat. The guy used a stick welder and buzzed the wrinkle quickly (as in a 24" wrinkle buzzed in two seconds) then hit the steel with a cold rag. This was stainless steel and the wrinkles disappeared. Quote
Normspeed Posted July 15, 2007 Report Posted July 15, 2007 Tim, it sounds like that crease hid like a scared turtle. Quote
