zombie370 Posted August 3, 2016 Report Posted August 3, 2016 I have a 1950 p 19 that i am planning to put an la 360 and 727 in. was curious if anyone out there has done this and has any tips sorry if this has already been covered. Quote
Dartgame Posted August 3, 2016 Report Posted August 3, 2016 I am sure others will chime in. I am certain there are other posts on this site covering this topic, it's been done a lot from I can tell. Butch's cool stuff sells kits for this. Do a search on the forums looking for your topic, something like small block Mopar swap would be a good place to start. Quote
dezeldoc Posted August 3, 2016 Report Posted August 3, 2016 Might want to use a 904 instead of the 727 as it is smaller around the t/c area. Makes for less work on the tunnel. also use a driver side manifold from a early A body as it will fit around the steering. Quote
mrwrstory Posted August 6, 2016 Report Posted August 6, 2016 I did the 360 in a P-15. I'm thinking not too diff. from your car. I agree with the 904 recommendation per Grumpy unless,.....you got the 727 already. Check my build thread http://p15-d24.com/topic/22985-im-back/ It's been awhile so there are many voids in the pictures. Feel free to send me a PM with questions. Following pic is from a recent Victoria, BC event which I attended. It has a 360/904 power train. 1 Quote
wayfarer Posted August 6, 2016 Report Posted August 6, 2016 MrBill's coupe is awesome. Yes, there are several threads on the subject including http://p15-d24.com/topic/25759-318-into-my-50-coronet/ and something similar to MrBill's http://p15-d24.com/topic/37777-360-magnum-nv3500-in-a-p15-build-thread/ Quote
