hey guys long time no talk. i am working on a 1938 plymouth for a buddy it is getting a chrome head edmunds dual carb intake and a t5. i am dropping the driveline off in a few minutes to get shortened. all i have left is the carb linkage. on a 38 plymouth it does not go up and over the head as it does in later cars. so my question is do any of you guys have some later linkage laying around i can buy or can you point me in that direction? i know you guys like pics so her you go.

Are the carbs mounted float bowls to the rear for specific reason?  can you use a cable?  buld a bracket to mount the cable a head bolt and go from there?

I've got a '38 Plymouth with a Nicson dual carb intake and used the stock linkage to where it goes behind the engine to the passenger side and built my own from there. I can get pics if needed, in a day or 2. Did the same with a Sharp intake I was previously running.

Here are a few.....last pic was uploaded right side up, but in the process rotated. Turn you screen 90 degrees and you'll be fine.
