casper50 Posted March 12, 2016 Report Posted March 12, 2016 not mine but for those keeping the stock rear end might be a good investment https://www.facebook.com/scott.sperling.9/videos/10206038571191561/ Quote
Frank Elder Posted March 12, 2016 Report Posted March 12, 2016 Saw that.....looks to be a better way to remove the drum, less warpage and no damage from the fingers/legs of a standard puller. Quote
casper50 Posted March 12, 2016 Author Report Posted March 12, 2016 looks pretty slick but will the end stand up to some heavy pounding? Looks a bit flimsy to me. I had to use a 5lb sledge on the passenger side to remove it. Quote
wayfarer Posted March 12, 2016 Report Posted March 12, 2016 Nice home-brew piece, but probably not going to last a long time with the (apparent) all-thread. I think that a piece of 1" Acme would be better for the long term. I am most curious as to the what and how of the end of the all-thd where it contacts the axle....all-thd is pretty soft in comparison. 1 Quote
