tjgreenwell Posted October 5, 2015 Report Posted October 5, 2015 (edited) Just wanted to drop in and introduce myself, since I have been on here using the wealth of knowledge. I have always been a Chevy guy but wanted to build a Pre-49 taildragger and found that the lines on the Plymouth's are way better looking. So I scored a beauty. I found a rust free 46 with a hopped up Flathead 6. Same older gentleman has had car for last 30 years. Here she is now. Plans are to drop the rear 3" and front an inch, split exhaust and run duals, skirt it, Black Cherry paint, white with black piping on interior and drive the wheels off of it. Thanks for all the great info and a great forum. Edited October 5, 2015 by tjgreenwell 1 Quote

deathbound Posted October 6, 2015 Report Posted October 6, 2015 (edited) Welcome....VERY nice car, I prefer the taildragger look. I like my car with the rear down/nose up.....I like my women the opposite. I used Posie's Super Slider 3" lowered rear springs, removed a couple leafs & added 1" blocks. Post some pics of the flathead. Edited October 6, 2015 by deathbound Quote

tjgreenwell Posted January 7, 2016 Author Report Posted January 7, 2016 Found some fender skirts. All that needs to be done is move pivot point on the spring loaded arm down, add pins to fender, and paint. Also picked up a hood ornament delete plate off ebay. Going to put a few hours in on it tonight. 2 Quote
